Legal Question in Employment Law in Connecticut

2 full time jobs

Hi,

I am working a full time job with company x (this is a contract job).

I need some extra money and am getting a work from home job from another company in the same profession , this too will be a full time job. Due to this new job being on west cost and I on east coast , I think I can manage both. I am not disclosing this fact to the new company that I wont be leaving my current job. My question is , are there any legal issues with this , if I complete there work on time and dont disclose any secrets of either company to other. These both are big professional companies.

Your reply will be appreciated.

Re: 2 full time jobs

An employee owes a duty of loyalty to an employer. Whether your positions violate this duty is dependant upon the specific facts relating to your employment and the businesses involved. I suggest that you consult an attorney to advise you more particularly with respect to your situation.
