Security Deposit Interest Error

What happens if there is an error in the security deposit interest that was returned to me (about $24). If I have to go to small claims, can I recover the cost to file a small claims suit?

It would be easier to go to your landlord and point out the error. If an error was made, perhaps he sill simply give you the $24.00.
