Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Connecticut

Co-ownership & Breech of Contract

If a person signs a contract in CT, but lives in Mass, then breechs it, and there is a co-ownership on a dog that is for the showring, do both parties have rights to the dog? If the person who sold the show dog lives in CT, and the Dog is in Mass, what rights do the co-owner from Ct have to go and get said dog if said contract is breeched?

What form does co-owner from CT, need to go and get said dog that is being held from her?

CO-owner from Mass is saying that Dog has bad knees, but will not let co-owner see said dog.

I hope I got the right Area of Law?

Re: Co-ownership & Breech of Contract

If I understand the question correctly - you and another person jointly own a dog but the co-owner refuses to relinquish control of the dog. If there is a written agreement between you, then that should control. If there is not, then you will have the obligation of proving what the terms of the contract are. Finally, if the other side is unwilling to relinquish control you may be able to bring a lawsuit (either in CT or MA) to get a court order to relinquish the dog or for money damages.
