Legal Question in Personal Injury in Delaware

Automobile Accident

I was rear-ended in an automobile accident. I called an attorney and he set me up to see a chiropractor. I have not seen a primary care doctor for my injuries. Will this weaken my case when I go to settlement?

Re: Automobile Accident

Ordinarily a physician's diagnosis is needed to assert a claim for injury. A chiropractor will not hurt your claim but is not likely to help either. Ultimately the medical bills will need to be paid whether or not there is a recovery. There are several other matters that apply to personal injury claims. Contact me if you are considering another attorney.
