Legal Question in Consumer Law in District of Columbia

Am freelance fundraising consultant. Entered in to verbal agreement with new client to provide services for her foundation. She asked me to email her an agreement for scope of services, and she would have her board review it and sign it. I have not heard back from her and can't get my calls or emails acknowledged or returned.

What are my rights abd options in a situation such as this? Thank you.

If all you've done is email a proposed agreement to the other party, and, so far, you've heard nothing back, I'd say your realistic options regarding this situation are as follows:

1. Continue to hope;

2. Take your freelancing elsewhere.
