Legal Question in Consumer Law in District of Columbia

Mythic Entertainment last night had a huge mishap with their billing system and most subscribers have been charged their subscription fee from 5 to 100 times in just a few seconds. These are amounts ranging to $1500 or more, with countless subscribers. Some subscribers have pointed out that their bank accounts are now $500 or more in the negative due to these charges. Please tell me there is something we can do, as I was hit with $300 in charges as well. This company cannot get away with this again! (Yes, I said again, it happened before in December of 2008)

Can we form a class action suit? Civil suit? anything?

Yes, first send written demand for your refund. (If paid with a credit card,

inform the card issuer in writing that you are contesting the charge and the reason why.)

And, then, if you fail to get your refund demanded, sue the Mythic Ones in small

claims court.
