phone billing error
I have a PDA-equipped phone which ran up extraordinary charges over the past month.

I think the roaming portion of my bill is probably correct, but i was incorrectly assigned to a limited data plan. The difference between what I owe and the correct bill is nearly $1200.

I have excellent credit but feel I must fight this. Is it possible to take Cingular (now AT&T) to small claims court, or at least threaten to do so in order to get them to negotiate the payment down?

Before, thinking about going into court, why not first put your objections in writing and directed to Cingular's billing dispute department

to see whether this allegedly unfair billing can be resolved favorably without having to resort to litigation?
