Rule (6) (b)

What is Rule (6)(b)? My ex husband is citing this rule in his appeal of our divorce settlement. Both of us are pro se.

If he is appealing the trial court's judgment or aspects of it to the DC Court of Appeals, he has to file a notice of appeal within 30 days of the date of the court order. He apparently failed to meet that deadline and is trying to get an enlargement of the time period by Rule 6b. However, if the 30 days has already passed, it will probably be denied.
