Legal Question in Workers Comp in District of Columbia

limited employability since injury

physical injury to back, can do no heavy lifting. workers comp cut benefits claiming I can perform light duty but have low mental capacity to do these jobs -test shows am at second grade level.. What can I do?

You should be able to appeal the decision of the worker's compensation

commission or board to cut your benefits. (You may have to retain an attorney to assist you with this appeal if you have, as you claim, "low mental capacity".)
