Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Florida

Chapter 7 Bankruptcy

Wife and I had to file CH7 in February of 2007. I had several (4) rental properties at the time that were in a negative cash flow and those were included on the bankruptcy. We did not reaffirm on any of the properties. About 4 weeks later I found an investor that wanted to try to short sale the 4 properties. I said we could try. One house was sucessfully short sold. The other 3 the banks were not willing to work with the investor. We just received paperwork in the mail that we were summoned to court for reestablishment of the loan and we now owe the bank $56,000 plus the attorney fees of $1,200. How can this be if all of these properties were included in the chapter 7 bankruptcy? Did my trying to short sale the properties negate this?
