Legal Question in Business Law in Florida

Business lawsuit

My husband owns his own business we he is a Corporation. We had an account with a supplier and we were unable to pay them in the 60 days alloted due to being stiffed by a contractor. We were still making payments every month but not enough for them so they sent us to a collection agency we made payments to them a couple of times but they got really nasty that we were only able to pay them so little so now we got slapped with a lawsuit. We know we owe the money. Would it be better to call the other attorney and tell him lets make payment arrangements or do wee really need to call an attorney. We really don't have much money due to the failing economy.

Re: Business lawsuit

It's always better to have an attorney working for you, but you could try to call the lawyer who sued you and see if you can work out payments.
