Can a LLC be set up as a S Corporation for tax purposes?

You should seek guidance from a CPA registered with the State where you declare your taxes. However, it is my general understanding that so long as an LLC has two or more members, it can elect to report taxes as a S-corp. Notwithstanding the aforementioned, some restrictions still apply. I would encourage you to seek the advice of a CPA.
