If a FL LLC is reqired to use a doing business as name in CA, where is the DBA filed - FL or CA?

If you have a Florida LLC, you can file the dba here in Florida. However, that alone may not authorize you to conduct business in California. In order to do so, you must comply with California law. For example, an out of state company doing business in Florida must register with the Secretary of State. I imagine California has similar rules, but you would have to check with a California attorney.
