Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
Defamation from work
I work for a company. I have done a great job but I got a better job from a rival company. My boss at my current job went over and yelled at the new company about taking his employees. Now my new company is holding off on hiring me till I smooth things out with the old boss. I have done nothing wrong. I put in my two weeks. Can I take legal action?

Possibly against your new job for breach of contract.
