stop payment check

Customer stopped payment on a 215.00 check made out to me instead of my business-----service rendered through my business. How can I pursue this for collection.

Send a demand letter. If the customer does not pay, file suit in Summary Procedure (small claims) Court.

Send a demand letter to give the a chance to do the right thing; then sue in small claims if you have to make them pay.
