Legal Question in Business Law in Florida
I go to Youfit Health Clubs. I purchased a plan which allows me to bring a guest whenever I want. I was told my my club along with others that they only check ID card's for proper age (18). My wife had an outstanding balance with Planet Fitness, which was the name prior to Youfit. She had the doctor give the gym the letter of proof that she was unable to work out and to freeze her account. The gym wants us now, two years later to show them the letter, which the have no record of since they do not keep files of paper work and only use notes. Also in my signed contract it does not state anywhere that they can tell me who I can or can not bring as my guest that I am paying the club extra for.

As a Franchise Attorney I don't see a question posed in your narrative. What's the question? Also, any question arising out of a contract necessitates a review of the subject contract. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
