Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida

Arrested for criminal mischief because of irritable bowel syndrome

I need help badly, I was arrested July 2, of 2003 for having a bowel movement in public.

It was 2:00 a.m. and dark I am a newspaper carrier, I started to lose control in front of people so out of embarrasement I walked around the corner, and tried to contain it and failed. I ran towards a trash can and did the embarrasing deed. I was diagnosed with IBS in 2000.

I pled deferred prosecution w/public defender, the charges have been dismissed, but now good job offers are turning me down just because it was brought up. What are my alternitives.

Can I have the case reopened to clear my name. Expungement wont work, because I have a past DUI.

I asked the police for a polygraph test before I was placed under arrest.

I told the judge that it was a unfortinuate accident, he set my bail at one grand when it shouldve been 250. dollars

I told the police I was sick that morning. I didnt tell them I had IBS. I didnt understand the symptoms of my illness untill much later on. It wasnt willingly or malicously, it was an uncontrollable accident.

The reason I walked around the corner, The hauler was parked behind my car and I couldnt make a quick getaway, so I walked around the corner to try and stop it, but failed.

Hmmm. You should hire a local attorney to represent you. This sounds fishy, frankly, but if it is true, then your best bet is not to try to represent yourself, especialy since you have a prior arrest and conviction. be prepared to show the judge medical proof of your condition.
