Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida

Can I get someone out of my house?

My daughter is a Meth addict. She recently got out of jail and my wife and I let her stay at our house. She gets mail here and has our address on her drivers license. She and the Sherriff say that she can live here and have her drug addict friends in the house when ever she wants.

Is there any legal way my wife and I can get her out?

Can I start charging her rent (which she can't pay - no job) and eventually evict her?

Re: Can I get someone out of my house?

If your daughter is of legal age, you may legally evict her from your home through the normal legal process. If she is not of age, you have different problems. Contact a criminal defense lawyer in your town for specific legal advice.
