Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

On 8/6/10 I purchased prescription refills at my local Walmart store. Today, 8/10/10 I just received a phone call from Walmart. They stated that they forgot to charge me for some of the refills and I still owe them another $40.00. This just does not sound right. Since I paid with my Visa card nd they received payment - do I owe them anything?

Check with VISA, it is possible that the charge didn't "go through" for some reason, and Walmart never received payment. Go into the store, with your VISA bill and your receipts. The store manager should be able to straighten this out. It is not likely that Walmart would be calling you if they recieved the correct payment from VISA, and it may be a problem with your insurance company. They may be able to help you out by calling either VISA or your insurance, as they will know the right questions to ask. If you still think that you are being "conned" by Walmart, write a letter to the Customer Service Department, or just wait to see if they take action against you, or hire a general practice attorney to look into the matter.
