Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

Puechase over $28000.00 of goods and cant get refund.

I have purchased $28000.00 worth of plant material. I have received half of the order. Upon inspection material was found to be of extremely poor quality so I have refused balance of order ($14000.00). I prepaid (because I am in another country this was required)the supplier has refused to refund me for the balance of the order.I asked for a refund one week after initial goods were received. Are there any laws that say I am entitled to a refund?

Re: Puechase over $28000.00 of goods and cant get refund.

Your transaction may involve a whole host of laws but namely would be governed by the C.I.S.G., unless your contracted opted out of such provisions. The C.I.S.G. stands for the convention on contracts for the international sale of goods. It was adopted by resolution in the 6th special session of the General Assemby of the United Nations on the establishment of new international economic order. Accordingly, I would need to review your contract before any firm opinion could be rendered.
