Over ruling Judges decision

My wife and I had a dispute with a construction company over completeion of work on our bathroom. We were served papers responded we thought properly to the court papers and all of sudden we recieved lien/ foreclosure papers on our home. do to none payment of wrk done. we tried to do this dispute without a lawyer and when we did get one the judge would not hear us and we had to pay over 11,000 dollars for work that has never been completed. our question is can we ask for another hearing or are we S.O.L.with this case. any help would be appreicated.

There is no way to tell based on the facts that you provided, but I will tell you this, you're only remaining option may be an appeal. BUT BE AWARE: there is an extremely limited amount of time for you to take an appeal. It sounds like you tried to have the default set aside and the judge refused.
