Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Collection Agency

I have a collection agency who said they will report me to the credit bureaus and get my employment information and property. They are claiming I owe a certain amount and I disagree with them. Even after showing them on the contract where it says the amount I have to pay, they just ignored me. Can they report me without taking me to court? I believe I have a good case. What can I do?

Re: Collection Agency

You can send a letter of dispute to any credit agency which must include it in any report.
