Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Can a debt collector legally obtain your bank information and withdraw money without your permission? They had permission for one bank account, but gained access to our new account without us providing them with ANY information.

If no judgement was obtained against you, then no, unless you somehow gave them permission. They may have violated the law. Want to know the law without going to law school? It depends on what was filed. If they were allowed access to your bank accounts, then yes. If they were specific about which account they could attach, then perhaps they did violate the law.
