Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I have a debt that I owe to a small local company. I have been making payments on that debt, but if at times I am not able to make a payment, the owner threatens to post a 4x8 sign out front, which is on a busy road, with my name notifying the public of the personal debt. Can they legally do that?

This is a clear violation of the Fair Debt Credit Act. See www.ConsumerLawyerHelp.com to see if you have a claim and what to do.
