Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

my husband and I had a credit card since 1985, we divorce in 1999. at the hearing we were told to continue to pay the debt we incurred and since we aquired this card when I was in college, I was the primary user. Now my credit card company has sent me a letter stating my ex-husband called them last year to say I opend the account utilizing his info without his knowledge they have closed my account and all my payments go to a fraud account. This is crazy my husband knows we had the account and I always made sure they were paid on time and paid more than what was due. There have been no late payments since acct was opned in 1985. What is my recourse in getting a resolution? We were married in Virginia and divorced in Maryland. I now live in Florida. If I have a case I will pursue litigation

Contact the credit card people and clear it up. If you have been good paying things, I suspect they will re-instate everything.
