Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I lost my job and was not able to pay rent or find a job. I had to travel oversees to stay with family as I dont have anyone close in the US. While I have been oversees most of my debts went to collection as I ran out of money and havent been able to receive mail. It has been a year and a few months and need to come back to the US. What can I do? May I have issues at migration entering back the US? Im a citizen. Thanks

The fact that you owe money is not communicated to the guys at the customs desks at the airports. There's no centralized database of people who owe money to private businesses.
