I'd like my money back
Over a period of a little more than a year I lent a friend a large sum of money, mostlt to help his family. The agreemant was verbal although we did talk about having a contract. When I realized I was going to have trouble getting him to pay me back I sent him a ''contract'' at least 2 times. He expressed interest in paying me back but at this point I don't think he will. What are my options? Do I have any? I also have amuch smaller problem with my ''friend's'' brother. The total for both is close to $11,000. I would be satisfied with a payment plan.

Unless you have some proof of your claim you have a tough case to prove.
