Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I have a payroll advance loan for $500. I can't pay it, and I tried to make payment arrangements and they tell me that if I do not come in and pay all of it at a certain time that they will turn it over to the state attorney. Is it possible to do that, even after I have made the payment arrangements?

Why would they do that, they could just deduct payments from your payroll. Really!!!!

This threat may be a violation of the Fair Debt Credit Act. State attorneys handle criminal matters and your failure to pay is not a criminal matter.
