Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
A person in Califiornia keeps calling my work stating that I did not pay back a pay day loan. They will not provide me copies of any information as to where I signed for this loan. The man keeps telling me that someone from the Local Sheriffs office will come to my work and place me under arrest for this and that they will call my employer and I will lose my job
I have not knowledege of this type of loan and have asked for documentation, he states that I just need to pay to keep from going to jaila and losing my job.
If this legal?

This is a common scam going around. If you did not take out a pay-day-loan, then do not worry about it.
