Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I received a call on my husbands cell phone from someone stating they were an investigator with such and such( I erased the message),and she stated she had a warrant for my arrest for a credit card bill from a collection agency.of course my husband is freaking out.can they do this,will a police officer come and arrest me?????

Collectors are nasty people. NO you can not be arrested for a credit card debt. If they want money, they have to get a judgment and you would received notification of a hearing for pretrial first.
