Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I am signed on my mother's checking, savings, money market and CD's in case she gets sick or dies I can write a check. If I apply for a loan modification and have to be late with my mortgage payment, Can the back take her money since I am signed with her as a joint tenant and her money is in the same bank as the mortgage?
