Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

if i was arrested for having a fire arm and have severed two years in jail and now on the ankle braclet and everytime i go to court the witness does not show. What is the worse thing that could happen and the best thing that could happen?

Well the worst thing that can happen is that the state is ready even without the witness (or the witness ends up showing) and you lose at trial and go back to jail/prison. Best thing that could happen is that the State dismisses the case and you go home. If you need further help please do not hesitate to call 305.670.3119.

More information is needed. It appears you were released pre trial. Some witnessed do not show up for pre trial events but show up for trial. if the witness is necessary for the crime charged and he/she is not present at trial the State may dismiss the charges. Meet with an attorney (or discuss this with your current attorney). Either way you should prepare for trial and not simply rely on the witness not showing.
