Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
my boyfriend was arrested and charged with possession of cannabis, but he was bailed out. we have been waiting for a court date but have never received it nor was it posted on online records. Tonight, cops came to my house for his arrest for missing a court date, but he was not here. What is his next step?

You should hire an attorney ASAP. Hope the BF is not picked up soon. The attorney can file a motion to reset the hearing and get the capias dropped. Other than that, he needs to turn himself in or wait for the cops to come get him.
