It is up to the State Attorney's Office to decide whether they want to prosecute your case in Juvenile Court or whether they will "direct file" your case in adult court. That decision usually is made by looking at the facts of your case, your prior arrest/criminal record and when you turn 18.

My office handles both juvenile and adult firearms cases. Please check out: www.slavinlawfirm.com for more information.
