Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Grandparent

I was just wanting to know that since my dad took a plea bargain for lewd and lasv acts on a minor under 16, his probation officer is telling him that the law states that he cannot have supervised or unsupervised visits with his other grandchildren, unless he is outside of his home. But my family and myself want our father to be able to have contact with his grandchildren, we feel that it is not fair to us or our children. So is the probation officer correct in telling him that he cannot have contact with the minor children even though it will be supervised.

Re: Grandparent

It sounds like there is a lot of confusion about the terms of grandfather's probation. Some of what you said doesnt make sense. You need to ask the attorney who helped him with his case the specifics of the probation and if the proabtion officer is wrong the attorney can straighten it out.
