Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida

Injunction against dating violence

I have recently broken up with a woman who has been diagnosed with Histrionic Personality Disorder. She now made several allegations against me in the workplace and in public. At work she has filed charges against me and legally she has filed for an Injunction for protection against Dating Violence. She has previously filed charges against other people and they have been dismissed from work and/or pleaded No Contest and have accordingly been sentenced. What makes this such a tough situation is the fact that I was a witness for her in the previous case. I testified and told the truth, but omitted several pertinent facts that may have changed the outcome of this case.

1. Do I come forward and admit to not telling the ''whole'' truth in order to prove her character and tendencies?

2. How do I go about having the Injunction lifted/altered before the hearing, seeing that she also listed my work address as a place to stay away from, thereby prohibiting me from going to work?

3. Is it admissable to bring up/present her psychiatric diagnosis in order to prove her motives?

Re: Injunction against dating violence

If i understand you correctly you need the injunction. Why would you fight it? Agree to it.
