Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
legal question
my son is being forced to serve as a witnessed in a murder case,he was at the scene but did not see who comitted the crime,the detective says if he doens'nt show up hes going to issue an arrest warrant can he do this?

If you son fails to appear for the time and place given in the subpoena, he is subject to contempt, and the judge can issue a warrant for his arrest.
