what happens if the lein holder on my car repossess my car and dont report it to the police

If the lien holder already has your car, it's a done deal. The repo people only let the police know ahead of time so it doesn't look like they're stealing your car. It's an action in replevin. Perhaps I don't fully understand your question.

There is no requirement that a repossession be reported to the police by the repo people. Repo people just do it as a courtesy to assist the police in not having to chase down cars reported to be stolen which were, instead, repossessed. They also report it to protect themselves from being stopped by police for being in possession of a stolen vehicle.
