paying restitution

if a person was listed as being indigent,and part of their sentence was to pay restitutionof 50,000.00 and this person does not pay, they are unemployed; will they face jail time for non-payment?

If restitution is not paid during the term of probation, it may convert to a civil judgment.

If they are on probation, their probation may be violated and revoked. If they received a withhold of adjudication in return for a plea, the plea may be withdrawn due to non compliance. Jail time is a possibility for non payment particularly if no effort whatsoever was made to comply with the court order.
