Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I have a person from India that is calling me at least 20 times a day on my cell phone. The guys name is Detective Jack Taylor and says he is from the US Legal Investigative Dept in NY. He states that my brother owes money for payday loan. He gave me my brothers social security number and bank account number and had no clue who I was to him. Now he is saying my brother does not owe any money but he just wants to be my friend and is constantly calling me throughout the day and night. I have asked many many times for him to stop calling me but he continues. I am very worried that if he has personal information on my brother then he possibly will have my address and could harm myself or my son. What can I do? The phone number he calls from is +052522016

You can actually contact your local police/sheriff's department and report it as harassment.
They will find a way to deal with the person.
