help

i quit my job on a saturday i turned in my resignation. A week later i go in to collect my last paycheck. my boss/ex boss was very upset and said she had to cover a weeks worth of shifts. she then accused me of stealing from the company and she had proof. she said the police will come knocking on my door. i wrote it off as a threat and went on my way. (i am inocent) A week goes by and i got a buisness card from the sheriff on my door. i am 25 and have no criminal record i would like to keep it that way. so my question is should i seek representation before i talk to the sherrif department?
