Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
I stayed with a friend for 3 days and then he physically threw me out of the house and kept my laptop. The police did nothing even though they saw my injuries. What should I do now?

If the police did nothing then you could file a civil theft claim against your friend, which entitles you to three times the value to the item stolen.
