Violated Probation/DWLS 1st Offense

My brother is on probation and was arrested for DWLS 1st Offense. He was bonded out after seeing the judge. His PO knows about the arrest and has informed us that this is a Violation of Probation and a warrant will be out. What outcomes can we expect?

In order to better answer your question i would need to know the charge that resulted in him first being placed on probation. That being said, the new violation opens up the original charge and he could be punished up to the max sentence on the first charge.
