2 year old child suport

i am a father of a 2 year old baby girl. I am not the birth docements .her mother and her live with her mothers father. her mothers father is fostering her for health insurance reasons. I pay her mother and not her father none court ordered child support of about 640.00/m . i know that is more than the courts would prob make me pay but i do want to keep courts out of it. would it still be considered child support even if the mother is getting it . not her dad that is fostering. i have roof of all checks write for it. we were never married. thanks in advance

If the Father is caring for the child, the money should be paid to him. If the Father has a court order permitting the child to reside with him, he should receive the child support money. If the case were to go to Court you would have to rely on the mother to testify that the money was for child support rather than something else in order to obtain credit against any back child support awarded.
