Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

abusive mother

My son (12 yrs.old) dialed the wrong number Dec.10,05. The cops came and naturally took someone to jail, my significant other, husband who's 41 on child abuse due to the fact that he shook a finger at my son. Now my mom has temporary custody of my 2 kids,my 12 yr. old and 17 yr.old daughter. So far my husband has not been charged with a thing.DCF is involved so far and said I can see my kids, can go there, call them whenever until this is resolved. My mother is a very controlling , authoratative figure. My mother has tried 3 times to break into my house. My mother is acting like she owns my children. When she comes to my house, she harasses, threatens me, as well as lies to me.

She yells at me saying I'm the criminal. I really need to know what my rights are as a parent. Ever since my children were small, she's threatened to take my kids away for no reason. I always worked as a nurse, sometimes many hours, to make money to support all expenses. My mom always hated me for leaving my kids with babysitters. She hated me for being a nurse, not a teacher. When I found out that I was pregnant with my 12.yr.old (16 weeks), my mother wanted me to have an abortion. I know it's not right for her to have temporary custody.
