Birth of a child

This is my question.I have a baby due in November of this year,im the father,but the mother and i are'nt legally married.She's wants me to ''have'' the baby once the baby is born,im in agreement with this,we want to know what legal steps must be taken to do this?

The child needs to be born first and then a paternity action with a settlement agreement filed in court can take care of this. Contact us if you need further assistance.

You must file an action for paternity and custody, then the two of you can file an agreement in which the two of you agree that you will be the primary residential parent.

Do me a favor and ask this question again after October 1. The law is changing then, and even we lawyers aren't sure how it may change paternity cases. We should know after October 1, though.
