Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Car Title at Death

My wife and I are Florida residents. Shehas terminal cancer and has no will. She owns a 2006 Impala I am not on the Title. Does she need a will, or does the death certificate allow me as the spouse to keep or sell the vehicle?

Re: Car Title at Death

Speak with DMV. Generally, Unless title was in both names it would have to go to probate whether she had a will or not.
