child custody

My husband has an ex-wife who doesnt allow him vistation or contact with their child. she has taken the child out of state and constantly conceals the child from him. the divorce papers werent specific enough and can't be enforced. what can we do? we have no idea where the child is at and havent seen her in 5 yrs

This is a complicated situation. Do you have any idea what state the ex-wife lives in and other information which would allow you to find the child.

Generally, then you would have to go the the Court in the County where the visitation was order and have the ex-wife held in contempt.

There are laws whereby states will work together to honor the decisions on visitation from other states but it may be a long and expensive proposition.

You should file a petition seeking contempt for failing to allow visitation (all orders are specific enough for that) and demanding a parenting plan.
