Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

child support

My divorce was final 3/12/07. we have 50/50 custody. but, things have changed I have our son alot more than he does. My ex only pays 220.00 per month for support. I pay for his daycare, life insurance, healthcare and anything else that comes up. My ex always tells me he has no money to help. I make 8.00 an hour working 20 hours a week. He makes 16.00 and works 40 and I am paying for everything. can I get the child support and visitation modified? He will also be starting kindegarden next month so, things need to change. thank you.

Re: child support

You should file a supplemental petition to modify timeshare and support so that you can have the child support modified from 50/50 child support to normal child support. Your modification is needed to reflect what's actually going on rather than what's in your agreement. It's a fairly common procedure in family court.
