Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Child Visitation.

My ex and I were never married. My daughter is 3 1/2 years. I was just ordered to pay child support and I am up to date with it. The mother will only allow me to visit my child at her home before 7pm when she is home. She won't allow my daughter to leave with me or to spend the night or weekend. She has no ligitiment reason for it other than spite. What can I do?

Re: Child Visitation.

You can file a petition for specific visitation rights. You are entitled to the same type of visitation that a non-custodial parent receives in a divorce case, ie every other week-end from Friday night to Sunday night, 1/2 the summer and vacations. If your child is not yet in school you may be entitled to more time.
